HTML5 vs Flash: Is it done yet?
Think we'd all be better off if HTML5 could somehow instantly replace Flash overnight? Not necessarily, according to a set of comparisons from Jan Ozer of the Streaming Learning Center website, which found that while HTML5 did come out ahead in many respects, it wasn't exactly a clear winner. The tests weren't completely scientific, but they did find that HTML5 clearly performed better than Flash 10 or 10.1 in Safari on a Mac, although the differences were less clear cut in Google Chrome or Firefox. On the other hand, Flash more than held its own on Windows, and Flash Player 10.1 was actually 58% more efficient than HTML5 in Google Chrome on the Windows system tested. As you may have deduced, one of the big factors accounting for that discrepancy is that Flash is able to take advantage of GPU hardware acceleration in Windows, while Adobe is effectively cut out of the loop on Mac -- something it has complained about quite publicly. According to Ozer, the differences between HTML5 and Flash playback on a Mac could be virtually eliminated if Flash could make use of GPU acceleration. Hit up the link below for all the numbers.((((via)))) Engadget (which is ((via)) ReadWriteWeb) ((((source)))) (info/numbers) My Take:(no I won't be putting these everywhere LOL!!) I don't think HTML5 is quite done yet although if HTML5 could take advantage of GPU acceleration it would be sure to come out ahead (as Flash didn't have the advantage in the Mac of GPU acceleration and HTML5 performed better). I checked out the demo on youtube but for some reason it didn't work for me(yes i used Chrome). ok. Your going to have to show me how to do that, (with the pic and positioning thing! well i don't think HTML5 is done yet not fully "standardized" but when it is complete then i am sure it will prolly be better than flash!
i will post a off-topic discussion later(tomorrow POSSIBLY) and have what HTML5 is about and what it is aiming to do etc Time is our greatest enemy - besides the devil of course ![]()

HTML5 has a long ways to go before it replaces flash, but it will.

RE: HTML5 vs Flash: Is it done yet?
HTML means hyper text mark up language. It is so harder than other language. It is depend in all the command base language. Flash is more different than HTML. I have also tried to learnt HTML language so far But It is so hard as my thought.
